Star Hero Journey Metro Elementary

 Start Hero Journey Metro Elementary My group and I have decided that we would have the students of Metro Elementary identify the history of the plant life cycle. With listening to our AI story, by scanning a QR Code, the students will then be able to engage in electronic activities such a NearPod, Flip, and AI Perplexity. With these activities, it gives the students options to record themselves and act out the plant life cycle, it also lets them on their own time read the story with friends or their family. TEKS: K-2.1.A apply prior knowledge to develop new ideas, products, and processes;  Gardening TEKS: K.13 C - identify and record the changes from seed, seedling, plant, flower, and fruit in a simple plant life cycle. For my 2 activities, I would really love to use: "Roland Machine". This activity involves printing out stickers in whatever style or design that you choose/create. I think this activity would be something that the students of Metro Elementary would enjoy and find very engaging. It is also something that the students can do hands-on and are very creative! Another activity that I would like to utilize would be the Laser Cutter. The laser cutter is a fun machine that will allow students to bring in their own items and have it customized to the design of their choice. They can be creative by creating a design themselves and either customize their own items (brought from home) or use an item that will be provided to them by TAMUCC students.
